Comment

This workstation was poorly arranged at the outset of the observations. This arrangement caused the employee to work in a high risk posture and resulted in severe physical discomfort in the wrists, arms and back.

An articulating keyboard and mouse tray were installed, and adjustments were made to the desk and monitor height, as well as the monitor angle. The employee noticed an immediate positive effect of these changes, and they eliminated the previous symptoms of discomfort within a few weeks. The employee is now working in a more neutral posture that will reduce the risk of further musculoskeltal injuries.
