Ergonomic Considerations for Left-handed
People
Some things to think about concerning handedness in the office environment:
- Choose a mouse that has a symmetrical design so that it can be used by
left or right hands, or a mouse specifically for a left-handed person.
- Choose a keyboard tray system (e.g. Humanscale) that has an
interchangeable left/right mousing surface.
- Use a left-handed keyboard for
left handed workers (numeric keypad is on left).
- Position the phone, documents etc. on left for left handed people.
You can find a range of products for left-handed people at The
LeftHand.com.
