Telecommuting
The Central Organization of Salaried Employees (TCO) has initiated projects aimed at developing telecommuting guidelines and getting manufacturers to design and produce ergonomically suitable furniture for the home workplace
Telecommuting Connection
National Board of Occupational Safety and Health participated in developing the specifications for furniture to be used for computer work at home
In 1999 the project specifications acknowledged that when computers are in the home, children as well as adults will use them
TCO Recommended Furniture
As much as possible the worktables are to be adaptable to a child as well as an adult
Table height must be adjustable between 60 and 80 cm.
