Cornell University Ergonomics Web

Founded over 40 years ago and with over 5,000 members, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) is the professional society for Ergonomists in America. Membership of the society marks your entry into the professional world of Ergonomics.

If you are a Cornell student taking the Option III major in the Design & Environment Analysis department you can become a student affiliate member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. The annual fee is $30 for which you receive the following:

Talk with others who are members and I think you'll find that being a student affiliate has definite benefits, especially if you plan a career in this field. Cornell has an active Student Chapter of HFES, so get involved with their activities as well.

You can complete an on-line registration form to join the HFES and you can use me as an endorser (let me know by email that you've done this. HFES then emails me to confirm that you are a bona fide Cornell student). I hope that you take the opportunity to join us in HFES.
