2012/2013 Student chapter officers:
The Cornell University Student Chapter is based in the College of Human Ecology's Department of Design and Environmental Analysis. The chapter contributes to the CUErgo site. It has established an HFES information library in the department dLib Resource Center to increase knowledge and awareness of students in other majors within the department about the organization. Chapter members have also been actively recruiting students from other related fields of study at Cornell.
The chapter organizes activities that include tours of local industries, group member presentations, guest speakers, and further exploration of graduate programs and career opportunities.
The chapter consists of 18 undergraduates, 6 graduates, and 8 faculty, for a total of 32 members.
