Patterns of injury by body location over past five
years.
The site manager stated that reports of injuries increased
beginning in 1994 due to a program that encouraged reporting of
injuries. This was corroborated by the data which showed a large
spike of injuries beginning in 1994, rising higher in 1995 and
leveling off in 1996. While taking this into account, there may
be a pattern of increasing lower back and knee injury over the
past three years. (see figure).
