  Frequency of injury by year for soft injuries

Patterns of injury by body location over past five years.

The site manager stated that reports of injuries increased beginning in 1994 due to a program that encouraged reporting of injuries. This was corroborated by the data which showed a large spike of injuries beginning in 1994, rising higher in 1995 and leveling off in 1996. While taking this into account, there may be a pattern of increasing lower back and knee injury over the past three years. (see figure).
