Program Manager-EHS with a background in Ergonomics to work at one of our facilities in either Atlanta, GA or Huntsville, AL.  The complete job description is below.

 

Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics or Engineering from an accredited 4-year university.  Master's degree preferred in Ergonomics or related Safety Field. 

 

5 - 7 years experience in a developmental role with demonstrated knowledge of applicable ergonomic experience in a manufacturing setting and knowledge of health and safety regulations is required in a multi-site environment; including exposure/experience with Lean Six Sigma. 

 

Job Related/Technical Skills

Demonstrated safety results through progressive roles in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate would possess a background in equipment safety and understand OSHA, NFPA, and ISO14001 requirements.

 

Must have strong analytical skills to determine root cause analysis and resolve operational failures and set corrective action/course.

 

Must be a driver of Ergonomic and Safety requirements and capable of coordinating the design, build, and implementation of quality safety solutions.

 

Must enjoy working as both an individual contributor and as a facilitator for work teams.

 

Provide hands-on training and coaching of others as an important component of the job.

 

Must have demonstrated success in managing systems and processes.

 

Must be action oriented and demonstrate energy for things seen as challenging.

 

Ability to travel frequently; as needed to drive change.

 

Bi-lingual (English / Spanish or other language) is a plus.

 

Must possess leadership, presentation and training skills, organization and planning abilities.

 

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
