Internship Position Description:
The candidate will support research, user-centered design, and data
collection efforts within the Human Interaction Design group at Lenovo. This is
an ideal position for a confident and self-motivated individual looking to use
their analytical, communications and problem solving skills, to help create and
develop new hardware and software products for users worldwide. Candidate should
be able to work with little instruction to help maximize the abilities of the
Human Interaction Design team at Lenovo.
- Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct usability studies
- Analyze data from studies
- Assist staff in heuristic reviews
- Assist staff in other related project work
Position Requirements:
Completed bachelors degree in psychology or related field with coursework
involving human factors, human-computer interaction, research methods and
ergonomics or Human Factors graduate degree in progress.
- Prior experience in conducting experiments with human participants
required
- Prior experience in conducting usability tests and performing heuristic
evaluations ideal
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Research, analytical and problem solving skills, team player,
willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create and present presentations
- Can demonstrate initiative, independent proactive thinking and an
enthusiastic, can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings to conduct usability tests
