ROBENS CENTRE FOR HEALTH ERGONOMICS

RESEARCH FELLOW in Ergonomics and Patient Safety (Ref: 5271)

Salary Range: Circa up to around UK£28,000

A vacancy has arisen for a researcher to work with a team investigating the use of medication in care homes and implications for patient safety. The successful applicant will apply the principles of ergonomics to analysing problems in the existing systems, (including understanding and mapping the medication and information pathways) and will help in developing, evaluating and prioritising solutions. The researcher will work with others at the London School of Pharmacy and University of Leeds and some travel will be necessary. The post will be for two years and could be available on a part-time basis to the right candidate.

Applicants should hold an MSc in Ergonomics or related subject.
