INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES in User-Centered Design and Evaluation at the U.S. Census Bureau, Suitland, MD (1 mile outside of Washington, DC on the Green Line).

DURATION: Summer 2006 internship Salary: Based on education and experience. Benefits: Earn annual and sick leave.

DUTIES: Train and assist in one or more of the following: Usability testing of Web sites and mobile device applications Low-fidelity prototype (Web) evaluations Card-sorting studies

APPLICATION DOMAINS: Electronic questionnaires, information web sites, and mobile computing devices.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a U.S. citizen and a full or half-time student in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, preferably in the behavioral or computer sciences.

HOUSING AND TRANSPORTATION: Interns make their own housing arrangements. Carpools might be arranged.
