Ergonomics/Human Factors Position at Microsoft

The Design and Research Group for the Mobile and Embedded Devices Division is looking for a User Researcher. The position will collaborate intensively with a design team composed of 6 researchers and 10 designers that specialize in both hardware and software interaction.

Primary responsibilities include requirements gathering, task analyses, and strategic research. Candidates are expected to have a strong passion around mobile devices and will gather knowledge of our competitors, including international ones.

Candidates with experience in human factors or ergonomics are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates should have 4+ years of industry experience in User Research or a related field and have a Masters’ or Ph.D. in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Human-Computer Interaction, Usability Engineering, or Psychology.
