As part of a nationwide design talent search for Motorola's Consumer Experience Design (CXD) group, we would are publishing a series of Job Descriptions for consideration by past graduates and the current graduating student body. CXD is an organization within the Personal Communication Sector. We employ a user-centered design approach in order to optimize business strategies, build our brand, ensure usability and develop rich experiences. The group is responsible for all aspects of the Graphical and Voice User Interfaces in Motorola's global mobile phone portfolio including: interaction style guides, screen and information design, task flows, application design, sonification, light, graphics, haptics and animation.
We work with global and product marketing, systems engineering, software development, industrial design, business groups and advanced technology labs. In addition to our offices in Libertyville and Chicago Illinois, we maintain specialist and regional teams in San Francisco, California; Basingstoke, UK; Beijing, China and Seoul, South Korea.
