Description:
A major automotive manufacturer is looking for an educated, energetic individual
for the position of Plant Ergonomist at their Baltimore, MD manufacturing
facility. Responsibilities include working closely with union and salaried
officials to identify, prioritize and correct ergonomic issues throughout the
plant, conduct ergonomics training, report out to plant management and corporate
safety officials and act as a resource to the engineering and safety
departments.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor of Science degree, with emphasis/major in ergonomics, human factors,
or biomechanics
2) Experience using ergonomic assessment tools (NIOSH, Snook et al., RULA,
Metabolic Equations, etc.)
3) Experience performing ergonomics in a manufacturing environment is a plus
4) Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
