TRILOGY

Trilogy's mission is to revolutionize business for the Global 1000.

Trilogy is at the center of change. We take our customer's business visions and turn them into reality:

With the high energy and entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up and the stability of an established company, Trilogy has emerged as both a leading company to work for and a dominant player in the e-commerce landscape. We continually strive to attract and mentor outstanding individuals from leading colleges, business schools, and companies, and we provide you with the opportunities and rewards you need to shape your long term career goals. Trilogy runs as a complete meritocracy-- you are rewarded for your results, not your seniority. We don't care what time you come to the office or what you wear to work. We care that you're learning, innovating, and getting the job done.

Working as a member of the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) team, you will create user interfaces that empower users and tap the true potential of Trilogy technology. The team is an eclectic group of creative people who like challenges and solving hard problems. We hire only the people who are smart enough, talented enough, and passionate enough to build solutions that will help revolutionize business for the Global 1000.

The HCI team is comprised of mainly 3 different positions: interaction designers, visual/Web designers, and usability specialists. Descriptions follow:

As an Interaction Designer, you will work very closely with users, developers, usability specialists and visual designers in an iterative, user-centered design process to develop the interactions of some of the most complex applications in the world. In defining your design, you will interview clients to gather information about workflows and product specifications, identify user populations, evaluate users' needs, design the information architecture and interface solutions, and test with end-users and peers.

As a Visual Designer or Web Designer, you will work very closely with users, developers, usability specialists and interaction designers, applying your visual or Web design skills in an iterative, user-centered design process. In defining your design, you will draw from your experience in Web application or site design, page layout, definition of look and feel, graphic design for print media, icon design, game design, multimedia design, computer graphics or animation.

As a Usability Specialist, you will work very closely with users, developers, visual designers and interaction designers, applying and teaching your knowledge of usability techniques in an iterative, user-centered design process. You will determine the usability issues of some of the most complex applications in the world. In defining these issues, you will interview users to gather information about their goals and tasks, help to create storyboards and prototypes, and conduct informal or formal tests in our usability labs or at client locations. This information will then aid you in providing design recommendations based on your expertise and real data.

We are searching for students who have an interest in any of the positions above or have degrees in any of the following areas:
