What type of data do you want to analyze?

Nominal Ordinal Interval
or Ratio

**ORDINAL DATA ** (e.g. rank data, rating scales with unequal intervals, such
as a scale like " poor", "fair", "good").

How did you test your subjects?

- Independent groups (i.e. each subject participated in a different treatment condition)
- Repeated measures (i.e. each subject participated in a more than one treatment condition so that repeated measurements were taken for that subject)

**INTERVAL or RATIO DATA** (e.g. equal interval rating scale, such as a Likert
scale, measures, such as inches, degrees etc.) or ratio data (e.g. miles
per hour, meters per second).

How did you test your subjects?

- Independent groups (i.e. each subject participated in a different treatment condition) for 2 conditions
- Repeated measures (i.e. each subject participated in a more than one treatment condition so that repeated measurements were taken for that subject) for 2 conditions
- Independent groups or repeated measures for 3 + conditions
- I want to fit a curve or predict a trend
